MasterBond warranty

National Register of Warranted Builders MasterBond Warranty Make any significant purchase for your home or business these days and you'll be offered an extended warranty to protect you against future mechanical failure or breakdown.

How much more sense it makes then to have exactly the same kind of common-sense insurance protection for building work, renovations and extensions to your home - work which for most of us represents a serious investment in the most valuable asset we own.

The FMB MasterBond warranty scheme means that you can commission building work with confidence, because you're protected against so many of the things that can go wrong - and even the best of builders can meet problems through no fault of their own. Things like accidents and ill health, faulty materials or financial difficulties can create serious problems, or even mean that a job can't be completed.

Introduces in response to widespread consumer demand for more protection in such circumstances, a MasterBond warranty adds just one and a half percent to the total cost of the job.

On a job costing £5,000, MasterBond cover comes to £75 plus IPT* - a small price to pay for piece of mind - and you're protected from the moment you take up the offer of cover and we accept the insurance premium for up to ten years after completion.

*IPT will be charged at the current rate in force. IPT is an insurance premium tax which is applicable to all insurance premiums.
